Mark and I just got back from a trip to North Carolina. On the way we stopped at the Museum of Appalachia in Clinton, Tennessee, just off I-75. If you ever get a chance, stop and see this place. It’s wonderful!
In Bennett Arboretum we found a shoe tree. Not the kind you put in a shoe to keep it’s shape, but the kind of tree that is full of shoes. It honors a Northville track coach.
This is the second of two new voodoo boxes. This one is called “Rational Numbers”. There is magic in numbers, spirits hide in the spaces between them. They are fond of fractions.
Both these boxes should be on view at the American Sewing Expo in Novi this weekend.
