So much of the landscape around here looks like the rinks at Sochi, and we are all getting very tired of it. I am anxious for the first flowers of spring, but that won’t happen for a while. I will try to make friends with the ice, and try to keep it at bay.
Hmm, bowls? Yes, Jane, mom and I went to the Village Potter’s Guild a couple of weeks ago to take part in a soup bowl fundraiser, where we got to paint glaze on bowls that the Potter’s Guild members had thrown and fired. It was for the Salvation Army, and we had such fun!
This is the bowl Jane painted.
This is the bowl mom painted.
This is the first bowl I painted.
This is the second bowl I painted. We had a great time, and the Potter’s Guild was wonderful. They had such beautiful bowls to chose from and great suggestions. What a great time!
