Yesterday was our neighborhood car show!
This week I helped yarn bomb (that is, to temporarily decorate trees and such with knitting and other things made of yarn) the Northville Art House. Many folks donated knitting and yarn, I just helped hang some of it around the place. Joan did an amazing job putting it all together!
It wasn’t a figment of my imagination, it was figment! There were puzzles to puzzle,
t-shirts to print,
a bus to paint,
videos to take part,
clones to be made,
music and much more!
Even a thrill ride for the very brave.
What an amazing day!!
Where I found some very determined chicory growing in the cement cracks of an overpass,
and a duck, that is relaxing where the turtles usually hang out. Too hot for turtles?
Selling radio books! The Michigan Antique Radio Club had their extravaganza weekend in Lansing Friday and Saturday, and Mark and I always sell capacitors and other radio stuff.
I’ve shown you radios and radio parts, but we also sell ephemera. I thought I’d give you a sample:
Goya did some gross paintings in his old age. One of the grossest is the one called “Saturn Devouring His Son.” I’ve done my version of the same painting.
