A visit to a Beautiful Island in Detroit

Belle Isle, of course, Mark and I took relatives through the conservatory!



belle-isle-3belle-isle-4belle-isle-5The Belle Isle Conservatory, also known as the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, is the oldest continually operating conservatory in the United States.  Albert Kahn designed it using Jefferson’s Monticello for inspiration.  It is beautiful, and  a wonderful way to meditate, gather your wits, and find inspiration yourself.  Truly one of Detroit’s gems!

What I did on my summer vacation
