If you’re ever in the neighborhood of 14 mile and Orchard Lake, check out Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum. It’s a blast.
Here are just a few photos of the wonderful stuff inside.
Put in a quarter or two, and you can watch such things as bodies descending into Hell.
Once in Hell, the devils are eating and playing pool.
You can watch victims being tortured during the Spanish Inquisition.
Skeletons being chased by a dog.
Even if you don’t put quarters in the marvelous mechanical machines, just looking at all the stuff on the walls will keep you busy for a very long time. Truly an amazing place!
Last night Mark brought me this skull, I think he’s very cool.
Today a neighbor gave us some wonderful dried morel mushrooms! Life is good.
We have a mulberry tree in the back yard, one that doesn’t produce berries (unlike the one in our front yard), but it produces seed in the spring.
This spring it has produced lots of seed. We have swept it up a several times, sure it could produce no more, and then a wind comes along and the parking spaces and lawn furniture are again covered in the stuff.
It is nice having shade, it is a very good tree, so I’ll stop complaining. It will be nice to sit outside again without first having to clean everything off, though. I’m sure it will be soon.
