Yes, it is the birthday of one of my favorite authors, Theodor Geisel. How shall I celebrate? Perhaps I’ll wear a big red and white striped hat all day. Perhaps I’ll have green eggs and ham for lunch. Maybe I’ll stack some turtles, or go looking for Whos. I could count brightly colored fish, or try to hatch an egg. I know, I’ll wear a star on my belly!
Do ya see the date at the top of this post? Do ya? Ya babies, March First! Yeah, yeah, I know, spring isn’t for another 20 days or so, and even when spring comes there’s still winter, and we’re known for our April snow storms. But doesn’t just saying March sound great? February is full of cold, March is full of possibilities! February is grey, with pink Valentine trim for just a moment, but March is green. St. Patrick green, budding green, brand new creeping out of the ground yellow-green! Harmony and I are looking out the window, standing in a sun beam. She’s wearing her March-green eyes. Hurry spring.
