I got to go to Pewabic Pottery today, a beautiful Detroit institution. You can buy the most beautiful vessels and tiles there, if you’ve never checked it out you should. They are housed in a beautiful facility built in the Tudor Revival style in 1907. Cousin Susan called me this morning and asked if I was up for it, of course I was. After buying some pottery (who could resist?), we checked out the Conservatory on Belle Isle, and looked at all the wonderful poinsettia plants. Then a wonderful lunch in Greektown, such a lovely day. I’m so glad Susan called.
